In the countries where we work across Southern and Eastern Africa, the ongoing effects of the pandemic and climate crisis are being severely exacerbated by rocketing rates of inflation, and sharply rising food, energy and fertilizer prices.
In this newsletter, our Africa Director, Oswald – who recently visited eight of our partners in Tanzania and Uganda – explores what the surging cost of living means for the communities we work with, and outlines what we can do to support them at such a challenging time.
